The short version: I only get your email when you give it to me. I use it to send you what you asked for, and I never sell it. Want it deleted? Email hello@wilsonklee.com and it's gone.

Who runs this site

wilsonklee.com and the free calculator at start.wilsonklee.com are run by Wilson K Lee, based in Vancouver, Canada. Questions about your data go to hello@wilsonklee.com.

What I collect

• What you type into a form. Your email. On some forms also your name and a short note (like the work-with-me application), plus the concept and city you picked and the numbers the calculator worked out for you.
• Your calculator answers. The concept, city, size, prices and the optional "tell me your dream" text, plus the plan it made. These are saved without your name or email, so I can see how people use the tool.
• Where you came from. A short tag on the link that brought you, like which video or guide.
• How the site gets used. Google Analytics counts visits, pages and clicks. It uses cookies to do that. It doesn't give me your name or email.

What I do with it

• Send you what you asked for: your blueprint, a download, the newsletter, or a reply to your application.
• Send you emails about opening and running a food business. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
• See which guides and videos actually help, so I make more of those.

I don't sell your data, and I don't share it with advertisers.

Who helps me run it

These companies handle data for me, only to run the site and the emails:

• Google hosts the site, stores the form data and runs Google Analytics. The data sits on Google Cloud servers in the United States.
• Anthropic (Claude) writes your calculator plan. Your calculator answers are sent to it. Your email is not.
• Resend sends the emails.
• YouTube plays the videos on guide pages, in privacy-enhanced mode, so it doesn't set cookies until you press play.

How long I keep it

Until you ask me to delete it. Unsubscribing stops the emails straight away.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom.
• Email hello@wilsonklee.com to see, fix or delete what I have on you. You'll get an answer within 30 days.
• Block or clear cookies in your browser. The site still works without them.

Kids

This site is for adults opening or running a food business. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
